Privacy Policy

Zurp LLC is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use the Platform.

2.1 Phone Number. Collected at registration and used to verify your identity via OTP and to deliver SMS receipts and service communications. We do not collect email addresses or require social login.

2.2 Usage Data. Session start/end times, station locations used, rental duration, and transaction history.

2.3 Device & App Data. Device type, operating system, IP address, and app usage data collected automatically.

2.4 Payment Data. Payment transactions are processed by our third-party payment processor (Stripe). Zurp does not store full payment card or wallet details.

We use your information to: (a) process rentals and payments; (b) send SMS receipts and account communications; (c) provide customer support; (d) improve the Platform; (e) comply with legal obligations; and (f) prevent fraud.

By registering your phone number, you consent to receive transactional SMS messages including OTP verification codes and rental receipts. These messages are transactional and cannot be opted out of while maintaining an active account.

If Zurp sends promotional or marketing SMS messages in the future, we will obtain your separate prior express written consent before doing so. You may opt out of marketing messages at any time by replying STOP to any such message. Opting out of marketing messages will not affect your receipt of transactional messages required for your account.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with: (a) payment processors and cloud service providers; (b) merchant partners, solely to operate the station at their venue, such as confirming active rentals; (c) law enforcement as required by law; and (d) successors in a merger or acquisition.

Merchant partners do not receive user phone numbers or personal identifiers. Any operational data shared with merchants is limited to session-level data and is subject to confidentiality obligations.

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as required to fulfill legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of internet transmission is completely secure.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting hello@zurp.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

The Platform is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors and will delete such information promptly if identified.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated via SMS or in-app notice with an updated effective date.
